Cold Engines is a classic multi-player real-time strategy game where you need to survive in a harsh frost environment and defeat your enemy.

Fill the tanks and save your units from cold!

You will command a small group of survivors, trying to stay alive in a harsh frost environment. As a commander, your main goal should be to build a base where your people can hide from the cold and also refuel their tanks. To get this done, you need to get enough fuel.

Survive harsh cold environment, occupy warm areas, fight with nature

Simple? Not so much. You are not the only one here fighting for resources, there are other players, and also the environment does not give you anything for free - especially wild barbarian tribes.

Steal wrecks or frozen enemy units to get resources

But what is a threat, could also be an opportunity. Your units are not the only ones that can freeze. Frozen tanks are a very good source of other resources. Send your harvesters where they should be, pull frozen, or damaged wrecks to your base to get resources and the victory will be yours.

Oh, and don't forget to plan attacks and ambushes based not just on your enemy actions, but also the pitfalls of the freezing world. If you are smart enough, the hostile nature can be your valuable ally.

Play for two different factions

You will choose your faction - the slow but powerful one, that harnesses the power of steam, or the other - fragile, but fast and wild scavengers.

Upgrade your units and buildings

You got that all right? Nice, so you can upgrade your units, build better ones, and reach even the coldest areas of the world.
