Anode Heart is an homage to the classic monster tamer games of the early 2000s. It's set in a futuristic world where physical and virtual reality are deeply intertwined, and have become almost indistinguishable from one other.



You play as Seek, a childlike robot with no memories. Your journey begins by awakening next to a metallic pod on a foggy shore. While exploring Stack Island, you'll partner up with Tama, mysterious creatures that have recently begun manifesting in the Overworld. Your mission will be to find out who or what you are, and with the help of Tama, to prevent a great calamity looming on the horizon.

* Over 90 techs that they can learn

* Card battle minigame
* Breeding/Reiniting monsters for greater stats
* Semi-open world
* 5 Unique overworld areas
* 8 Recruitable characters
* ~2h of gameplay time to beat all of the demo quests



JRPGs and monster tamer games have defined my childhood and they've greatly inspired me to create my own stories and games. Today, I'm happy to be working on a monster tamer of my own, and I hope to share a new story today that you'll enjoy. I'm working on this solo, with little to no budget, so this is very much a passion project for me. No matter what happens, I'll give my best to see it through to the end and beyond.
